Purpose of Meeting: I. Calendar check-in, Committees for the year
a. Schedule of Classes Coordinator needed, plus committee to assist
b. Chamber Music Milwaukee
c. Search committees, PAS Subcommittees
II. Undergraduate Recruitment and Audition and Retention discussion
a. Pre-college events and programming (including UWAY/UWMSA/UJAY/etc)
b. Recruiting events including tabling: Civic MKE, WMEA, Midwest Clinic, ILMEA/IMEC, MYSO, etc
c. Advertising plan including CMS emails, etc
d. MPS students/schools, String Academy, et al (all following the Minor Compliance policies)
e. Retention and graduation of current undergraduate students
f. Graduate Recruitment and Retention
III. Music Education curriculum check-in
IV. Finance, Personnel (including Job Searches), Workload, Salary Equity, Budget
V. Small Group meetings (as needed)
VI. End of Day
The afternoon session may go into closed session per state statute(s):
-Wis. Stat. sec. 19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
-Wis. Stat. sec. 19.85(1)(f) Considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons.
