The UWM Department of History’s sixth Jere D. McGaffey Lecture will be Thursday, April 2, at 3 p.m. in the UWM Student Union, Alumni Fireside Lounge.
Nathan B.D. Connolly, the Herbert Baxter Adams associate professor of history at Johns Hopkins University, will speak on “Letters from the Ancestors: Family History and Our Capitalist Future.”
Connolly’s research interests include 20th-century America, racism, capitalism, urban and suburban history, and African diaspora.
