There are numerous husky safaris available, including at Arctic Husky Farm, located between Pyhä and Luosto Fells. Beginners will be shown the ropes before heading out on two-person sleds pulled by six dogs. (One person drives, one sits.) These safaris range from a speedy hour’s ride to an overnight adventure, and all include a husky farm presentation, at which visitors can learn more about the pack of 200 sled dogs, a mix of Alaskan and Siberian Huskies.
