Peck School of the Arts vocal performance major Kathryn Henry will perform with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. Nov.13 and 14 at the Basilica of St. Josaphat, 2333 S. 6th St. In her orchestral debut, she will perform in Gorecki’s 3rd Symphony.
Music fans will remember Henry as a winner of the national Semifinals of the Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions in March.
Henry is also a winner of the UWM Symphony Orchestra Concerto and Aria competition and took first place in the Upper College Women category at the national level of the National Association of Teachers Singing Student auditions. Her many operatic credits include the title role in UWM’s production of “Suor Angelica.”
