Friendly Caller Program offered for sheltered seniors

Are you in contact with older adults struggling with fear and isolation related to the COVID-19 crisis?

The Office of Applied Gerontology in the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare is partnering with Jewish Family Services to get the word out about the JFS Friendly Caller program. The program supports older adults who may be struggling with loneliness and anxiety, especially during COVID-19 quarantine measures.

If you know of any adult client or community member in Milwaukee County who may benefit from additional support during this time, please refer them to the JFS Friendly Caller program. They will be matched with an intern or JFS staff member who can provide friendly chats and socialization to them over the phone for the duration of the COVID crisis.
