The U1.0 First-Generation Program will host its annual First Gen Week from Nov. 7-9. The program, housed in the Inclusive Excellence Center, celebrates UWM’s first-generation-identified students, faculty and staff. All events are in the UWM Student Union, Room 119.
- Nov. 7: 1:30-3:30 p.m.. Learn more about the first-gen program and receive a free T-shirt.
- Nov. 8: 9-11 a.m. Celebrate National First Generation Day!
- Nov. 9: Noon-2 p.m. Create a personalized mug.
The week will provide opportunity to build community and show your pride as a first-generation student, including a celebration of National First Generation Day on Nov. 8.
