UWM’s Division of Community Empowerment & Institutional Inclusivity is launching a civil dialogue project. This fall, the division will sponsor several Discovery Dialogues — 90-minute events designed to introduce participants to the distinctive nature of civil dialogue — followed later this year by dialogue facilitation training for those interested in furthering their skills.
Eight Discovery Dialogues, geared toward various UWM populations, will be held in locations across campus from late September through late October. Registration for each dialogue is limited to 15 to encourage authentic sharing and active listening.
