Professor Ann Swartz and Laura Rooney, clinical associate professor, decided to use a common textbook for a sequence of three classes they teach in exercise physiology – Kinesiology 330, 336 and 430. The textbook provides a foundation for all three courses.

They worked with the publisher to provide one full year of access to the online text when students bought it. “So students who purchase this text can use it for all three classes with one purchase for the whole academic year,” Rooney said.

“This is a small thing, but I think it demonstrates that our faculty and staff are considering the needs of our students, particularly during this time,” said Timothy Behrens, dean of the College of Health Sciences.
