Deadlines near for annual performance evaluation and mandatory training

Deadlines are approaching for UWM employees to complete annual performance evaluations and mandatory training.

UWM employees must have a written performance evaluation and complete mandatory training on an annual basis. UW System policy requires an annual performance evaluation for all employees, and a completed evaluation must be on file between May 1, 2022, and April 30, 2023.

In addition, UW System policy also requires that all UWM employees complete IT security training each year, sexual violence and sexual harassment training every three years and a one-time child abuse and neglect training. Reoccurring mandatory training courses, including the IT security and sexual violence/sexual harassment courses, when applicable, must be completed by March 30, 2023.

Completion of both the performance evaluation and the mandatory training is necessary to maintain eligibility for future pay plan adjustments. Find more information at this webpage.
