UWM students and employees are now able to schedule COVID-19 testing using a new sign-up link.
Students and employees who do not have COVID-19 symptoms can sign up for testing through uwmke.vivi.healthcare. UWM requires weekly testing for employees and students who are not vaccinated through Nov. 26.
Testing appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the UWM Student Union in the Wisconsin Room Lounge. Appointments also are available at UWM at Washington County and UWM at Waukesha from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on specific days.
Learn more at this FAQ on testing.
Students and staff who do not use campus-based testing will have to file proof of testing (or some other exemption) on a weekly basis using the Exemption Form. If students and employees test positive and do not have a follow-up test, they are considered positive for COVID-19.
If you have symptoms:
Employees with COVID-19 symptoms should contact their personal health care provider for a test. Employees who have symptoms but test negative should get a confirmatory PCR test.
Students who have COVID-19 symptoms or primary exposure should call Norris Health Center at 414-229-4716, and the center will schedule a free PCR test for them.
