Construction on Maryland Avenue to install pavement for a new bus stop will begin the week of Oct. 22. Traffic between Hartford Avenue and Kenwood Boulevard will still have access to north- and southbound lanes, but parts of the west sidewalk and bike lanes will be closed as traffic is shifted.
The bus stop is being moved from the corner of Maryland Avenue and Kenwood Boulevard to a new location south of the pedestrian bridge on Maryland Avenue. Construction is expected to last about two weeks.
