UWM’s Center for Student Experience & Talent invites all faculty and staff to the Life Design for Working Learners Conference on Aug. 6 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center.
The conference explores how the principles of Life Design can help students approach career development with curiosity, confidence and purpose. Rooted in Stanford University’s design-thinking framework, Life Design encourages people to navigate uncertainty, explore possibilities and make informed career decisions through action and experimentation. Participants will gain practical tools to better support students as they prepare for meaningful careers beyond graduation.
Conference highlights include how to help students build a framework to connect values, interests and career aspirations, how to build a career that fits and how to build your network. Lunch is provided with registration.
