Come celebrate Charles Darwin’s 213th birthday with the UWM Department of Geosciences during Darwin Day on Feb. 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greene Geological Museum.
Learn about paleontology, natural history and evolution at learning tables. See Wisconsin fossils and hear how these ancient animals once lived and died. Come experience Thomas Greene’s world-renowned mineralogical collection, including samples that cannot be found anywhere else. Have an interesting rock or fossil at home? Bring it in, and we might be able to identify it for you. Event is free and open to all ages.
