Panther Transition Day on Friday, Sept. 1, is a mandatory program for all new freshman students. New freshmen will meet other students in their community to become equipped with the resources to have a smooth, successful transition to UWM. This interactive program is intended to helpful, fun and a great way to meet other new students.
New freshman students will participate in educational sessions and the Class Photo and Coin Toss. After the photo, students will walk from Engelmann Stadium to the fountain, and we want to welcome them with a bang.
From 12:30-1:15 p.m., please join faculty, staff and upperclass students by lining the walkway from the Maryland Avenue sidewalk (on the north side of Lubar) to the fountain to welcome the Class of 2027! Feel free to hold signs, wave pom-poms, shake a cowbell and any other creative ideas you have to welcome them into the Panther family.
