The UWM Office for Development and Alumni Relations is seeking nominations for the Patricia H. Weisberg Innovation Scholarship, which was established in 2016 to provide scholarships to UWM students who meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment as an undergraduate student
- Innovative and/or creative abilities, demonstrated through on- or off-campus activities
The scholarship will be awarded for the 2019-20 academic year and is open to undergraduate students enrolled in all schools and colleges.
Up to four scholarships, valued at $2,000, are anticipated to be awarded for the 2019-20 academic year (final number to be determined by endowment fund performance).
Please identify and nominate students who demonstrate innovation and creativity by submitting the downloadable nomination form for each student nominee.
Finalists will be chosen from a pool of around 15 to 20 students.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, April 29. Please share this opportunity with faculty who are involved with students in innovative and/or creative pursuits. Please forward completed letters of recommendation to eph@uwm.edu or by mail to:
