All are invited to the debut of the Fall 2021 Asia in Conversation Series on Friday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The first discussion topic is “Career Development for Asian Faculty in Academia.”
Ivy Lingqian Hu, a professor at UWM’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning, will be in conversation with Laxmi Ramasubramanian, a professor of urban and regional planning at San José State University, and James Nguyen H. Spencer, vice provost and dean of the graduate school at Louisiana State University.
The Asia: In Conversation Series is intended to show the academic and social significance of the creative work on Asia at UWM in science, social science, the arts and humanities. It will take the shape of informal, but not casual, conversations between UWM faculty and their interlocutors in the wider world.
