The Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute (NMDSI) is now accepting applications for its Fall 2025 Student Scholars Program, which seeks to engage students from UWM and Marquette University in data science research, working with NMDSI-affiliated faculty and data science experts in and across disciplines. The program gives students hands-on experience in the broad applications of data science.

Award notifications for Fall 2025 projects are expected by early August. Note: Student applicants must have approval from a faculty member willing to supervise the proposed project.
