Scholarship info sessions Nov. 10 and 11

Students are invited to attend a hybrid session on scholarships and grants on Nov. 10 and 11.

The Roberto Hernández Center is committed to supporting students and is partnering with Maria Solis from the Financial Aid Department to create a comprehensive information session for students to learn how to earn scholarships.

These hybrid sessions will teach students how to navigate UWM’s Scholarship Portal, create a strong application and essay, submit proper information and documentation, follow up on and accept money offers and more.

Students do not have to be eligible for FAFSA to benefit from scholarships. All DACA students, undocumented students and FAFSA-eligible students are highly encouraged to attend one of the two sessions offered.

The two sessions will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. in Union W191, and Thursday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. in Union E240.

Pre-register through SignUpGenius. If you are unable to attend either session, register as unavailable and we will follow up with you and share the information presented.

Encourage your friends and peers to attend. All are welcome.
