The UWM men’s basketball program recently spent some quality time with one of its community partners, volunteering at the 81st Street Boys & Girls Club.
Head coach LaVall Jordan’s team played hide and seek with the kids and also took part in basketball and kickball games.
“We had a great time interacting with and getting to know the kids,” UWM senior Cody Wichmann said. “We are so fortunate to be playing Division I basketball, and it’s always good to give back to the community.”
In the spring, the men’s basketball team visited the Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club to participate in a beautification project and play basketball with the kids at the club.
