Owen Klatte (’76 BS Architecture), associate instructor in the Peck School of the Arts Department of Film, Video, Animation and New Genres, was also part of the team on “Anomalisa.” He will introduce a showing of the film at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 23 and will lead a question-and-answer session.

Kastelic (’06 BFA Film, ’10 MFA Performing Arts-Film) is credited as both the puppet supervisor and head of puppet fabrication. Released in December 2015, and written by Charlie Kaufman and directed by Kaufman and Duke Johnson, “Anomalisa” is described as a modern-day story about love and alienation that was meticulously crafted using stop-motion animation.

In addition, Kastelic’s work is part of an installation through March 27 in the core exhibition “Behind the Screen” at the Museum of the Moving Images in Astoria, New York.
