Work of film program grad featured in international festival

Nazli Dincel, a graduate of the Peck School of the Arts MFA program, will be included in the prestigious International Film Festival Rotterdam, Jan. 27-Feb. 7. Her film “Solitary Acts (4, 5, 6)” will be screened as part of the Tiger Awards Competition.

The festival is a prominent showcase for short and medium-length films and the program is one of the most extensive of its kind in Europe. The 2016 selection of films is a mix of 23 short fiction films, documentaries and experimental films from countries including Turkey, Japan, Palestine, Singapore, Brazil, Serbia, France and New Zealand.

The jury for the Tiger Awards Competition for Short Films will also pick a film to go on to compete in the short films category of the annual European Film Awards.
