Purpose of Meeting: Approve the move of the MA Geography/MLIS from the Department of Geography to the Department of Geosciences (the latter in near future to become part of Earth, Environment, and Society). The name of the degree will not change.
Identify one of the required MLIS courses to evaluate HLC learning outcome #2 (Students graduating from the Master of Library and Information Science program will be able to: evaluate and implement library and information services and systems).
Review ALA Accreditation letter and consider responses due in Biennial Narrative Report 2027.
