UWM IT is preparing for the launch of a new version of the PantherList email system in 2026. In preparation for that change, any PantherList mailing lists that have not been used in the last two calendar years will be disabled on Dec. 2, 2025.
This change applies to any PantherList that has not had a post in more than two years (between September 2023 and November 2025). The lists will be disabled on Dec. 2, and then permanently removed from the system on Dec. 1, 2026.
This will be an automated procedure moving forward for PantherLists:
- Any mailing lists that have not been posted to over a 2-year period will be disabled.
- A year after that disablement, they will be permanently removed from the system.
- If you have questions or need to review a mailing list that has been disabled, please contact iam-support@uwm.edu.
Note: PantherLists that are permanently removed from the system cannot be recovered.
