The 10th annual Monster Conference on Nov. 21 will celebrate undergraduate research and creativity with lunch, snacks and a range of student presentations on the theme of dichotomy.
The event, hosted by the Honors Association for Research and Publication (HARPY) and sponsored by the UWM Honors College, will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Honors House, Room 196.
The theme of this year’s conference centers on the “dichotomies” that shape our world, including hope and despair, self and anxiety, and human and monster, inviting reflection on the tensions that define experience, culture and society.
Lunch and light refreshments will be provided from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM, with snacks available throughout the conference.
