Wilderness First Responder course deadline extended

Do you want to gain more confidence and preparedness around medical emergencies in the outdoors? Wilderness First Responder is a definitive course in medical training for outdoor enthusiasts, educators, medical professionals, guides and others who work or play in remote areas.

The curriculum covers all of the skills required to assess and manage medical problems and accidents in remote, outdoor environments.

The course will be held in the Klotsche Center Dec. 27-31. Registration is $650 for all UWM students, faculty and staff, with downpayment options available. Registration has been extended to Nov. 30. For more information, visit the Outdoor Pursuits event listing page.
