Purpose of Meeting: – Update on the campus tour to investigate the complaint about inaccessibility of prospective student tours. (Karen and Shannon)
– Campus Planning Open Space Assessment and Guidelines – Accessibility components and coordination to add these to the Website Campus Map. (Karen)
– Student Hub and Sensory Spaces in Mitchell Hall.
– Comments from Chancellor Mone and Provost Daire.
– Physical Environment Committee liaison is Nicole Stelzner.
– Suggestion to invite campus colleagues to a committee meeting to discuss their role in encouraging an accessible and inclusive campus community. What groups do we want to hear from? What’s the interest level (to help us prioritize)?
– Determine frequency and modality of meetings for academic year 24-25.
