The campus community is invited to the spring semester series of UWM Science Bag, featuring three sessions for each presentation and kicking off on Friday, Feb. 9,
The series taps into science curiosity and delight through three themes in February, March and April. Each month includes three sets of free presentations — Friday evenings, Friday afternoons for school group opportunities, and Sunday afternoons.
On Feb. 9, Junjie Niu, an associate professor of materials science and engineering, will kick off the series with “Lithium Ion Batteries: Making Mobile Magnificent,” at 6 p.m. He’ll share the presentation again on Feb. 16 and Feb. 18.
All shows are in Lapham Hall, Room N103. Find a full listing of presentations, presenters, titles, and dates and times at the UWM Science Bag website.
