Students have a chance to get prepared for the upcoming spring career fairs through the “Prepare for the Fair” session on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the UWM Student Union Ballroom.
You’ll be able to meet and ask employers questions, and take advantage of one-on-one resume reviews with employers. Also, you’ll get time to practice your “professional pitch” with employers. An employer panel will cover interviewing and hiring practices, and you’re encouraged to ask questions.
Here’s the schedule:
- 10 a.m.-noon: Resume review
- 10 a.m.-noon: Professional pitch workshop
- Noon-12:30 p.m.: Lunch
- 12:30-2 p.m.: Employer panel
