Faculty and staff are invited to hear UWM alum Farouk Dey of Johns Hopkins University talk about how to encourage students to think about their future. Dey, the vice provost for Integrative Learning and Life Design at Johns Hopkins, will talk on Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center.
Dey will discuss his work and how to encourage students to think collectively, creatively and critically about the possibilities for their future. Dey was named one of LinkedIn’s Top Ten Voices in Education in 2018 and is recognized for his thought-provoking writings, engaging talks and transformational leadership in career and life design, workforce development, future of work, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
