Members of the UWM community are invited to participate in the Fall Make a Difference Day on Saturday, Nov. 11. The Milwaukee event enlists volunteers help older adults prepare their homes for winter by raking leaves, cleaning patios and clearing garden beds.
You can sign up as an individual or as part of a team. Individuals will be grouped as a team before being sent out to do service. The event goes from 9 a.m. until about 1 p.m., depending on how quickly you finish your volunteer project.
