Ahead of the winter break and holiday gatherings, students, faculty and staff are encouraged to pick up free COVID-19 antigen home test kits from the UWM Student Health and Wellness Center, located in the NWQ Building D, on the seventh and eighth floors.
Just stop by the center and pick up the test kit boxes, which will be near the elevators on the seventh and eighth floors. Each box contains two tests.
The tests are valid until mid-January 2023, after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention extended the tests’ use-by date by an additional six months.
The health center has a large inventory of tests now, but it’s not likely that free kits will be offered to the campus community in the future.
