The Campus Cares team at UWM has updated the trauma-informed care toolkit for supervisors — one of two toolkits that includes guidance and tips for faculty and supervisors that go beyond the immediate crisis of the pandemic.
These toolkits provide tips for instructors and supervisors on how to create a culture of care in and out of the classroom or office. The tips are grounded in empathy, empowerment, safety and transparency, while also recognizing each person’s needs.
