Purpose of Meeting: Congrats to Filip Tejchman on receiving tenure. Kurt – update on technology in school
Indication from administration that Dean search will not begin until F2020. Search committee will be formed in S2020.
Revenue generators / Offsets to budget
1 – SCE – access to online courses (for non-UWM students, professionals need additional skill development) – 3 students enrolled
2 – Study Abroad – offset the loss of revenue from credits that go directly to CIE to support the study abroad program.
Implementation: 3 students enrolled in Amsterdam online coure, Italy??
3 – Offer GER courses 2x a year (short term – 18 more students this fall in ARCH 101) long term – will this effect spring #'s (will track over time)
