ISS, Shared Services, CTS Website Re-launch

We are thrilled to announce that, as part of a formal partnership which FAA has established with University Relations, the ISS Project website and the Shared Services website have been redesigned.  We also created a new website for Campus Technology Support (CTS), to give them a web identity separate from Shared Services.  These three websites just launched/re-launched.

The ISS Project Website continues to be the place where we will share important documents, communications, and updates about the ISS project.  The Shared Services website and CTS website are primarily for service recipients to find hub staff contact information, process documents, and other relevant information.

This completes Phase 1 of the redesign project.  The primary differences between the previously existing and redesigned ISS and Shared Services come through design.  These two sites are more streamlined, as the goal was to make it easier for users to find the information they’re looking for.  Phase 1 for the CTS website involved a new web presence for CTS with a staff contact listing and links to https://uwm.edu/technology where users can go to get web help.

While we do not have all the information our stakeholder could be looking for on the websites yet, Phase 2 will build on that information over time.  Enhancement of the Shared Services and CTS websites will align with the ISS project process improvement efforts.  For example, the websites will be one tool to communicate launched processes, and in the future, will be a place for stakeholders to find associated documentation, forms, and flowcharts.  We will work on that additional information over the next two months, with the goal being fully functioning websites by the end of July.

As part of Phase 2, we will also be collecting feedback from stakeholders.  If you have comments or suggestions for updates, please click the “Website Feedback” link located at the bottom of the respective site and fill out the webform.  The Business Process Management Team will determine the feasibility of these enhancements and work to prioritize them.

We would like to thank all of those involved for their time and efforts on this project.
