UWM Racial Justice and Equity Program

UWM Racial Justice and Equity Program

As a new employee, you will be required to complete the Racial Justice and Equity Program (RJEP) training. The purpose of the RJEP is to raise awareness about the history of systemic racism and its enduring impact on our society today, examine our own racial socialization, and provide suggestions for action in our everyday life. Developed in the fall of 2020, the program was also UWM’s call to become active advocates against racial injustices and inequities. This training is given on a semi-annual basis, and an invitation to join this course will be sent to new employees via email. If you have never signed into Canvas, please visit UWM’s Canvas website and login with your ePantherID so that you may be invited to complete the required training.
