Max Overdevest

Max Overdevest is a Water Policy and Science Communications Fellow at the Center for Water Policy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Florida and is pursuing a Master of Science in Water Policy at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences. 

Before joining the Center for Water Policy, Max worked in several undergraduate research roles studying topics ranging from the infant gut microbiome to science podcasting. 

At the Center for Water Policy, Max focuses on media production and community outreach to engage the public on water policy issues.  

In his free time, he enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee (well) and basketball and volleyball (poorly). He also likes to run, bike, eat, and sleep, all while listening to podcasts.
