Dr. Anne Marshall Contributes to Project Advancing AI Fluency Among Rural Students

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Education is contributing to a new National Science Foundation-funded project led by Education Development Center (EDC) to strengthen AI fluency among rural students. Dr. Anne Marie Marshall, director of UWM’s Center for Math and Science Education Research and co-leader of the master’s degree program in mathematics teacher leadership, serves as a co-principal investigator on the initiative. The project will work with rural middle and high school STEM teachers to develop and test AI-supported learning experiences that prepare students for the future.
