Elysha Rice serves as the Clinical Experience Coordinator for the Peck School of the Arts and the Wisconsin Improvement Program (WIP). She completes field and student teaching placement for students enrolled in Art Education, Music Education and Theatre Education programs. Elysha also collaborates with the Institute for Urban Education to coordinate WIP internship opportunities. In addition, Elysha supports the office by helping to manage the Criminal Background Check and TB test result process for all students, including those in the School of Education, Peck School of the Arts, and School of Information Studies.

Before coming to UWM, Elysha taught middle and high school math in Massachusetts and Wisconsin, most recently in Shorewood. Elysha received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Math Education from Boston University and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Framingham State College.
