Annie Marcks works within the UWM School of Education. Currently, she teaches literacy courses in both the early childhood and elementary/middle education programs. She also works with students interested in obtaining a K-5, special education or reading teacher license to pass the Foundations of Reading Test (FoRT) through course instruction and tutoring sessions.

Annie’s teaching experiences include working as a special education teacher for three years and teaching middle school English and reading for six years.

Annie received a dual bachelor’s degree in special education and elementary education (K-9) from Bradley University. Annie also received her master’s in literacy and reading teacher license from Concordia University.
