Chia Vang and C21 AC Member David Pate Launch “Telling Our Stories” Book

“Telling Our Stories: A History of Diversity at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 1956-2022” recounts UWM’s history through the experiences of women, people of color, LGBTQ, people with disabilities, military personnel, and individuals from other countries. The book explores how complaints about bias have impacted the university’s growth and development of diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. Read the write-up of the book launch from UWM Report, here.

Copies of the book are available at no charge for as long as supplies last. Stop by the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion office in Chapman Hall, Room 118, during business hours on Mondays or Wednesdays.
