C21 Graduate Fellow Allain Daigle in the Atlantic!

Congratulations to current UWM doctoral candidate Allain Daigle for his recent article, “How the 50-mm Lens Became ‘Normal,’” in the May issue of The Atlantic! Allain’s piece was published in partnership with Object Lessons and offers a compelling history of the 50-mm lens’ role throughout the development of early-to-present cinema.

Allain is a C21 photographer and an incoming 2018-19 Graduate Fellow at the Center.
