Kevin leverages over two decades of experience as a Small-Cap Value Equity Manager, earning Manager of the Decade titles from PSN-Informa for the 10-year periods ending in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Presently, he serves as a Portfolio Manager at Carmel Capital Partners in Carlsbad, California, and is the Founder of Madison Partners, an investment research partnership established in 1998.

In his recent role as Chief Investment Officer at an RIA subsidiary of Sterling Partners in Chicago, Kevin managed all active equity strategies and served as a member of the Board of Managers. Before joining Sterling, he managed the equity strategies and a 40-act fund at Falcon Capital Management. His co-founding of Falcon also marked the development of a wealth advisory practice to serve the diversification needs for high net-worth families around a best-in-class survey based Risk Optimization and mapping onto the Efficient Frontier.

Before Falcon, Kevin was a partner at Dearborn Partners, where he served as the CIO of the institutional value team. His responsibilities extended to managing the strategies at Third River Capital Management, a family office and institutional manager co-founded with a founder of Harris Associates in Chicago, and later acquired by Dearborn. Kevin's journey also includes a noteworthy stint as part of a small team managing the award-winning $3 billion ABN AMRO Large-Cap Fund. In his earlier roles as a sell-side analyst and Managing Director at ABN AMRO Securities and Everen Securities, Kevin advised on dozens of mergers and acquisitions and billions of dollars of transactions.

Beyond his professional roles, Kevin has been a part of the CFA Chicago Board of Directors and served as a Leadership Award Committee member for two decades. He has also been actively involved as a regular speaker and member of the advisory board at the UW-Madison Applied Securities Analysis Program.
