Dr. Hao’s research interests include empirical asset pricing, corporate governance, and nonprofit organizations. Her research has been published in the Journal of Financial Markets, Accounting & Finance, and the Journal of Management Accounting Research.

She has taught courses in corporate finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels and personal financial planning at the undergraduate level.

Professional Activities

Dr. Hao has served on several nonprofit boards in the greater Milwaukee area, such as SecureFutures.
