Areas of Expertise

Dr. Dobrev's research interests focus on the areas of strategy formulation and implementation, business and corporate strategy, organizational change, technology adoption, managerial careers and incentives, and entrepreneurship.

Professional Activities

Dr. Dobrev is a member of the Academy of Management, the American Sociological Association, and the Strategic Research Institute. His research has been published in numerous journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management Studies, and Administrative Science Quarterly. He currently serves on the editorial  boards of Organization Science, Organization Studies, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
