Course Book Adoption 

  • You must use PantherShopUWM to post required materials 
  • Students use this to plan their purchases (not just to buy) 
  • To get started, see the see the “How to Submit Course Material Adoptions,” 
  • Post required materials to students prior to the start of your course through a Canvas announcement 

Syllabus Requirements

Classroom Tech Orientation 

  • Optional: request 1:1 support from Classroom Services to review technology, including the projector system and system for recording lectures 
    • Use the  A/V Equipment Request Form – Technology Resources and follow these prompts: 
      • Enter contact info (include cell phone) 
      • Department = Lubar 
      • “Is this a request for a credit course?” = Yes 
      • Enter your course number 
      • Answer “No” to recurring event 
      • Select desired appointment date/time + room info 
      • Equipment = “AV Assistance” 
      • Service Requested = “Setup Needed” 
  • Classroom Services will get back to you and let you know they can meet  

Recording Lectures 

  • Kaltura Classroom Capture is installed in most rooms, see the list in Classroom Technology – Lecture Capture Classrooms 
    • Classes can be scheduled to record automatically. To do so, submit AV Order Form for automatic recordings through this Form Link 
    • Kaltura Classroom capture can be used without scheduling in advance by starting and stopping the recording using the classroom computer 
  • Some classrooms can live-streaming lectures. Contact Classroom Technology Support at classroomhotline@uwm.edu to learn more
