Learn New Techniques and Elevate your Dance Practice

A one-week, immersive workshop where high-school students will participate in daily classes specially designed for their technical levels. Workshops include contemporary dance practice, West African dance, composition, somatic practices, introduction to aerial dance, tap and repertory. Participants will attend professional development seminars and will network with nationally acclaimed dance MFA students.

Details and Faculty

Career exploration sessions include interviews with dance and performing arts leaders in the community, professional headshots, plus how-to sessions focused on applying to college and crafting a resume.

Tuition and Registration

  • Tuition: $400 through June 30. Tuition Includes lunches, snacks, professional headshots. (Tuition rate is $450 beginning July 1).
  • Enrollment deadline: July 13.
  • Housing (optional): Four nights/five days at a university residence for $120.
