    Springdances premieres five bold new dance works that capture the beauty and contradictions of contemporary life. Through visceral movement and compelling imagery, these performances navigate themes that touch eveyone's lives. Four dances will be choreographed by dance faculty members, and one by a guest artist.

  • Dance Summer Intensive for Emerging Dancers

    Through diverse approaches, embodied practices, and high-caliber training, dancers are exposed to physical techniques and artistry that prepare them for college auditions, dance performances, and professional careers. The four-day event is designed for artists ages 14 and up who are seeking to deepen their dance practice and discover new techniques, forging connections that support a professional dance future.

  • UpStart – MFA in Dance Research Concert

    Join MFA Dance students for an evening of original, experimental choreography developed in collaboration with UWM students, alumni, and the Milwaukee community. Their dance works explore diverse choreographic questions to investigate boundaries, freedom, resilience, and memory. UpStart is a unique opportunity to experience choreography from dance artists from across the nation.
