Biography

Katherine, an Omaha, NE native, relocated to Milwaukee in fall 2023. She completed a Performer’s Certificate in Collaborative Piano at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in Spring 2024. Katherine also holds a master’s degree in piano performance from the University of Missouri, Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Nebraska in Omaha.

Post graduate studies, Katherine was invited to participate in the 2015 and 2016 Maccagno Piano Days Festival and Competition held in Northern Italy. Her performances of Beethoven, Bartók and Liszt earned her a finalist spot in the 2015 festival’s international competition.

Katherine now enjoys a busy career of teaching and freelancing. She teaches at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in addition to playing for the Milwaukee Ballet. When not at the piano, Katherine enjoys scuba diving, horseback riding and running.
