Biography

Chris Skinner serves as an Academic Advisor for the College of Arts and Architecture. He holds a bachelor's degree in history and Classical Civilizations from Loyola University Chicago, and a master's in student development from Seattle University. He comes from a family of educators; teachers, professors, administrators, and has background working in student conduct, residence life, and advising.
Outside of his role, Chris is a die-hard Washington Commanders fan (ask him about his themed basement!) and you’ll spot him wearing a jersey every Sunday (and Monday if they win). He is the oldest sibling of three and a lifelong lover of the ocean. He enjoys video games, cooking, working out, and spending time with his wife (and fellow UWM advisor) Katie and their cat, Cooper.
