Biography

Steve is best known as "Lloyd" from Guys on Ice--a role he has performed more than 1000 times--including for Wisconsin Public Television.  Other stage credits include: The Bridges of Madison County (Robert Kincaid) with Peninsula Players; To Kill a Mockingbird (Atticus) with Children's Theatre of Madison; Lend Me a Tenor (Tito) with Milwaukee Chamber Theatre; The Fabulous Lipitones (Phil) with In Tandem Theatre; Urinetown (Cladwell) with Skylight Music Theatre; and Victory Farm (Wolfgang) with Northern Sky Theatre. Steve's on camera credits include "Agent Holcomb" in the TV series The Untouchables, several regional commercials , and several independent films including: June Falling Down, My Son My Savior and SixBullets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee's Professional Theatre Training Program (P.T.T.P.) where he trained with Louyong Wong, Peter Hackett, Jared Sakren, and Michael Johnson-Chase. The P.T.T.P. also gave him a chance to train and perform internationally in such venues as Krakow, Poland; Bratislava, Slovakia; and Sydney, Australia.

Steve has taught Acting and Physics at the Milwaukee High School of the Arts-- or MHSA--since 1993. He and his wife Julie-Honey are the proud parents of Alexander Steven & Austin Max.
